Army Releases Names of Alaska-Based Soldiers Killed Monday

The Army has released the names of three Alaska based  soldiers killed by a road side bomb Monday in Afghanistan.

The Defense Department identified them as 29-year-old Spc. Bradley Louis Melton, 21-year-old Pvt. Cheizray Pressley, and 26-year-old Pvt. Lamarol Jerome Tucker.

The three were assigned to the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat at Fort Wainwright, Alaska.

A fourth soldier was also killed– Staff Sgt. David Self from a unit based in Germany.

The attack took place in the city of Spin Ghbarga, in Zabul Province.
