Boat Runs Aground in Togiak Bay

A boat is aground in Togiak Bay. A salvage crew is working with the owners of the 102-foot “Nor’Quest” to lighten out its fuel before trying to re-float it.  It went aground early Wednesday morning after it lost its anchor.  It is carrying up to 18,800 gallons of diesel fuel, 200 gallons of gasoline, plus lube oil, waste oil and hydraulic oil.
