Anchorage’s Police Department Extends Deadline

This fall the Anchorage Police Department will hold its an officer training academy.  It’s been a couple of years since the last one and the time lapse has in part prompted the department to lengthen the application period.

Captain Dave Koch, commander of the Patrol Division, is in charge of the Anchorage Police Department’s current search for new officers.  He says the academy suspension had an effect on filling the application rolls.
