Glennallen Couple Accused of Trading for Walrus Tusks, Polar Bear Hides Take Plea Deal

There will not be a trail for the Glennallen couple accused of trading cigarettes, guns, bullets and snowmobiles to St. Lawrence Island residents for walrus tusks and polar bear hides.  They have pled out.  Jesse Joseph Leboeuf, Loretta Audrey Sternbach will plead guilty rather than face trial as will Richard Blake Weshenfelder of Anchorage.  There is no sentencing date yet.
