Crews Recover Bodies From Douglas Island Crash

Weather cleared enough Friday evening for a helicopter to reach the site of a plane wreck on Douglas Island and remove two bodies. Efforts continue to recover the crash debris.

The pilot was Charles Luck. a physician’s assistant at the Hoonah Health Clinic. He and his wife were flying from Hoonah to Juneau early morning of July 24 when the plane crashed.
