State Needs Until February to Release Remainder of Palin Emails

The state wants to delay the release the last 10 months of Sarah Palin’s e-mails as Alaska’s governor.

Randy Ruaro, deputy chief of staff to current governor Sean Parnell, says it will take at least until Feb. 20 to release the e-mails from Oct. 1, 2008 to July 26, 2009.

Ruaro told the attorney general the extension was needed to review properly and thoroughly the messages while not “substantially impairing” the other functions of the governor’s office.
