Juneau Man Presumed Missing at Sea

A 65-year-old Juneau man is presumed missing at sea after his unmanned skiff was discovered in the waters of southeast Alaska.

A Juneau police statement Friday identified the man as Glen Charles Craig. Lt. David Campbell says foul play is not suspected.

The Juneau Empire says (http://bit.ly/K178Un ) rescue crews searched the waters Thursday after another boater reported finding the unmanned 18-foot skiff in Favorite Channel in the area of the Shrine of St. Therese. The search was halted Thursday evening. Craig’s body has not been found.

Police say the skiff has been returned to the man’s family.
