Pentagon Considering Legal Action Against Former Navy SEAL Author

Various media reports indicate the Pentagon is contemplating pursuing legal action against Matt Bissonnette. Bissonnette recounts the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden in a new book written under the pseudonym Mark Owen.

Bissonnette, who comes from Western Alaska, contradicts the White House telling of the raid – raising questions of whether Bin Laden posed a threat to the Seals storming the compound.

Lieutenant Colonel James Gregory did not return APRN’s request for comment. But Colonel Gregory is quoted in multiple newspapers saying the Pentagon will not verify or discredit his telling, but the Defense Department is indeed weighing its options against Bissonnette and if he violated rules by releasing secure information.
