APD Seeks Public’s Help In Platinum Jaxx Shooting

Anchorage homicide detectives are once again seeking the help of community members to identify witnesses to last weekend’s fatal shooting in downtown Anchorage. Twenty-seven year old Said Beshirov was shot outside of Platinum Jaxx around 3 a.m. on Sunday after the club’s Halloween party. Some witnesses captured the incident on their phones and have given photos to the police. Using those images, Lt. Dave Parker says they are now seeking two individuals who saw the crime, One was dressed as the Hulk and the other as Iron Man. They are also seeking witnesses who were in a white Jeep Cherokee from the early 2000s. Police are encouraging these and all witnesses to contact them at 786-8900.
