On Wednesday, candidates vying for a seat in U.S. Congress will debate one of Alaska’s biggest industries: fisheries. Eighty-five percent of Alaska’s fish and crab catch comes from federal waters; who will represent Alaska fisheries in Washington, D.C., is a hot-button issue for many Alaskans.
