A man allegedly slashed a Costco employee with a box cutter after being confronted for shoplifting Wednesday afternoon at the discount warehouse’s store on Debarr. Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

The loss prevention employee was slashed three times on the arm before the suspect fled the scene on foot. The wounds were non-life-threatening.

Costco surveillance took a snapshot of the suspect. Anchorage police are asking anyone who sees him to call 911.
