Former UAF shooter prepares for his 4th Olympics

Former University of Alaska Fairbanks shooter and 2004 Olympic champion Matt Emmons is in top form heading toward his 4th Olympics this summer in Rio. USA Shooting reports that the 35 year old marksman won a World Cup in Munich, Germany, setting a record high score in the 50 meter, 3 position rifle event. It was Emmons 3rd World Cup medal performance in as many events this season.

Emmons, who’s had up and down performances at past Olympics, tells USA Shooting that he doesn’t have any monkeys on his back going into this summer’s games, and is enjoying what he’s doing.
