Begich will not enter race for U.S. Senate

Former U.S. Sen. Mark Begich says he will not mount a write-in campaign in the race for Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s seat.

In an interview with Rick Rydell on 650 KENI Radio Thursday morning, Begich said it was not the right time for him to enter the U.S. Senate race.

Begich was non-committal about whether he would run for governor in two years.
