Pediatric Endocrinology

Hormone glands
The endocrine system is made up of the pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, adrenal glands, pancreas, ovaries and testicles. This collection of glands produce hormones that regulate metabolism, growth and development, tissue function, sexual function, reproduction, sleep, and mood. We discuss disorders of the endocrine system with Anchorage pediatric endocrinologist Dr. Cydney Fenton on the next edition of Line One, Your Health Connection.
