Linda WeiLinda Wei is the Chief Content Officer for Alaska Public Media, leading the creative and operational teams behind television, radio and digital.

As a self-proclaimed “public media lifer,” Linda began her career as a volunteer at Louisiana Public Broadcasting in Baton Rouge when she was 16. She continued working at LPB as she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University. Geaux Tigers!

Linda comes to AKPM after 15 years at Nashville Public Television, most recently as Director of Digital Strategies where she was responsible for producing original content and overseeing NPT’s digital presence. While working at NPT, she was recognized with three Midsouth Regional Emmy awards and two NETA awards for her work as creator and producer of shows “ArtQuest” and “A Word on Words.”

Linda served as chair of PBS’ Digital Media Advisory Council and was selected as a Next Generation Leadership Senior Editorial Fellow in 2016, where she embedded with PBS’s signature investigative series, FRONTLINE. “
