Screening for Lung Cancer

A large recent study found that certain people receiving a low-dose lung CT had a 20% lower chance of dying from lung cancer than those who got chest x-rays. This and other studies have led to a recommendation to screen for lung cancer in some patients. The number of Americans who practice yoga increased nearly 30 percent in the past four years. The latest figures shows that over 20 million Americans are now practicing, about 9 percent of U.S. adults. The top reasons to practice yoga were to improve flexibility and overall conditioning, and for stress relief.
