Tired of staying at home this year? Well, now you can explore libraries around the state from your home or you can visit a location near you in-person!

Follow these steps to participate:

  •  Visit all 5 locations on our interactive character map. Each location has a video(s) that includes a tour and a fun activity, featuring some of your favorite PBS KIDS characters.
  • Uncover each location’s keyword. Watch at least 1 video from each location and find out what the keyword for that location is. Make sure to write it on your official Library Explorers passport and check off that location.
  • Once you have checked off all 5 locations, send a picture of your completed passport to education@alaskapublic.org  or take it to one of the libraries on the map to receive a Library Explorers certificate, and other prizes. Please include a mailing address. (Please note, images may be used in marketing materials or shared on our Library Explorers website)
