Takin’ the summer road trip to Talkeetna

There's a lot of Theatre going on just up the road a piece in Talkeetna this summer. Nick Condon, Denali Arts Council's Director of Drama, has two shows coming up: the musical Schoolhouse Rock that features favorite songs like "Conjunction Junction" and "I'm Just a Bill" and an improv show called appropriately enough, IditaprovSchoolhouse Rock runs July 25, 26 and 27 at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. MST’s The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!)

Three blind…vicars? “See How They Run” is playing at VPA

Valley Performing Arts brings to the stage the classic English farce -- Phillip King's "See How They Run" (the title is taken from the nursery rhyme "Three Blind Mice"). Director Vanessa Warner and actor Todd Broste take a breather to come by Stage Talk this week. "See How They Run" opens May 9th and runs through the 25th in Wasilla. Farce on the Fairway

Cyrano’s All The Great Books (abridged)

Seen a good book lately? How about eighty-six? In ninety-eight minutes. Join Jaron Carlson and Jay Burns, two-thirds of the cast of Cyrano's Theatre Company's production of All The Great Books (abridged), another in the series of hilarious shows developed by The Reduced Shakespeare Company (those folks who brought you The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)) as they give us a backstage tour as to how it all comes together. All The Great Books (abridged) runs March 28th-April 20th.
