Body found floating in Tongass Narrows

Alaska State Troopers responded Saturday to a report of a body floating in the Tongass Narrows near Ketchikan.

According to a Trooper dispatch, the body of an unidentified adult male was brought to shore, but has not been positively identified.

The body was flown to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Anchorage for an autopsy.

Troopers ask anyone with information regarding this case to contact the Trooper post in Ketchikan.
