State Officials Confirm First Case of Swine Flu

The State Virology lab is confirming the first case of H1N1 (swine) flu in Alaska. The patient is a middle age Fairbanks woman who first displayed symptoms about two weeks ago. Health officials say the case is a sign the flu is circulating in the state.
