Juneau Students Participate in Anti-Drinking Program

Students in Juneau recently took part in the “Every 15 Minutes” program, designed to show the dangers of driving under the influence. The program was developed by the Chico California Police Department in the 1990s, when statistics showed one person died every 15 minutes in alcohol related accidents nationwide. Today that number is closer to one every 30 minutes. But drinking and driving continues to be a problem.
