“I’m currently the youngest delegate from the Alaska delegation. My first convention. I just turned 21 back in May so it’s really exciting to be here. I wasn’t even old enough to vote in the last presidential election.

So I do accounting for the Alaska Marine Highway at the Marine Highway headquarters in Ketchikan. I’m an accounting technician. Before that, I worked at our local credit union there and was in banking for a while.

It’s just great to be here with a great group of Alaskans and it’s very exciting. It’s fun. You get to meet a lot of people and you get to meet a lot of people with the same values. I mean we all have the same fundamental, foundational, values and you get to know those people. You get to spend time with them. And you get to have fun with them. I mean, this is really the Comic-Con for political junkies. There’s no other way to describe it.

And so we’re making a real change here. We have a lot of impact. And this is the grassroots right here, so we’re having a lot of fun, and there’s a lot of great people. We’ve met a lot of diverse, dynamic people from all over the country. And so that’s what I would say. It’s a lot of fun, a great opportunity to meet people who believe the game thing that you do from all walks of life.”
